The firm

Twenty years delivering the infrastructure that cannot fail.

SageTel International is a boutique global telecommunications and technology firm. Since 2004 we have taken on a deliberately small number of high-visibility programs — and owned them end to end, from strategy and financing through engineering and integration.

Our story

Built to carry the signal.

SageTel was founded in 2004 to do one thing exceptionally well: deliver the wireless infrastructure and technology programs that entire markets depend on — where a missed milestone is not an inconvenience but an outage.

Over two decades the firm has delivered more than 500 high-visibility technology programs across the United States and India, directing over $2 billion in wireless infrastructure deployment. From an Ericsson 4G core in Los Angeles to a 3G core spanning the Western U.S., from Cisco microcell architecture to a five-state coverage expansion, SageTel has consistently delivered complex programs on time, under budget, and against contracted outcomes.

The firm carries full P&L ownership across every engagement — pricing, operating model, and go-to-market included. That founder-operator discipline shows up in how we work: we take responsibility for the result, not just the deliverable, and we structure each program to protect the client's timeline, budget, and risk position from the first day.

SageTel has also launched and cleanly exited international ventures, executing market-entry strategy, build-out, and orderly exit. It is experience that informs how we advise clients navigating their own transitions — because we have lived the full lifecycle, not just studied it.

Today that same discipline extends beyond infrastructure. SageTel advises seed-stage companies preparing to raise venture-backed financing — building the go-to-market strategy, the financial model and capital stack, and the growth model that stand up to institutional diligence. It is operator-grade financial rigor, brought to the companies being built next.

How we work

An operating discipline, not a deck.

Every SageTel engagement moves through the same rigor — the reason programs land on time and stay reliable long after handover.

01

Strategy & structure

We define the outcome, model the economics, and structure the program — scope, sequencing, and the capital and operating plan behind it.

02

Engineer & deploy

We design and build the network core, coverage, and systems — coordinating vendors, physical plant, and multi-market rollout against a hard schedule.

03

Transition & integrate

We move live systems without dropping the signal — aligning stakeholders, migrating plant, and integrating acquired networks post-close.

04

Sustain & optimize

We hold the line on reliability across thousands of live sites, building the vendor-management and issue-resolution systems that keep uptime high and cost down.

Full P&L ownership on every engagement means we answer for the outcome — timeline, budget, and reliability — not just the scope of work.

02

Transaction fluency

End-to-end M&A — due diligence and valuation, deal negotiation and structuring, and leading the implementation and post-close integration — including a multi-state E911 transition spanning 60+ stakeholders.

03

Reliability at scale

Sustainment programs across thousands of live sites, with engineered vendor-management systems that cut operational trouble tickets by 70%.

We take on the programs where the infrastructure has to work the first time, and every time after.
